My favorite Italian Honey Chamomile Mask DIY

I have always loved chamomile and have mostly used it as a calming tea since childhood and later for my own family. In Italy I have also discovered the amazing qualities of chamomile for my skin and hair. In Italy chamomile has long been celebrated for its ability to enhance beauty rituals. With its delicate fragrance and gentle yet potent benefits, incorporating Italian chamomile into your beauty routine can be a rejuvenating experience. Today I will give you my favorite Italian honey-chamomile facial mask secret. Let's explore the benefits first!


Skincare Benefits of Italian Chamomile

  • Calming and Soothing: Italian chamomile possesses anti-inflammatory properties that help calm irritated and sensitive skin. It can reduce redness, soothe skin irritations, and alleviate conditions such as eczema and rosacea.

  • Antioxidant Protection: Rich in antioxidants, chamomile helps combat free radicals that contribute to premature aging. Regular use of Italian chamomile can help minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots, promoting a youthful complexion.

DIY Calming Chamomile Honey Mask

You can find all the ingredients of this amazing facial mask in my store! (just click on the ingredient). I do this facial once a week and it has made my skin super smooth and radiant. I haven't been using any other facial mask since I discovered this one ... it's amazing.





  1. In a small bowl, steep the dried chamomile flowers in hot water for about 10-15 minutes. This will allow the chamomile to release its beneficial properties.
  2. After steeping, strain the chamomile flowers from the water and let the chamomile-infused water cool down.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the raw honey and plain yogurt.
  4. Add the cooled chamomile-infused water to the honey and yogurt mixture.
  5. If desired, add almond oil to the mixture. Almond oil is rich in vitamin E and can help moisturize the skin.
  6. Mix all the ingredients together until you have a smooth, creamy consistency.
  7. Your calming chamomile honey mask is now ready to use!



  1. Start with a clean, dry face.
  2. Apply an even layer of the chamomile honey mask to your face, avoiding the eye area.
  3. Leave the mask on for about 15-20 minutes to allow the ingredients to work their magic.
  4. While waiting, find a comfortable place to relax and unwind.
  5. After the designated time, rinse off the mask with warm water.
  6. Gently pat your face dry with a clean towel.
  7. Follow up with your regular moisturizer to lock in the hydration.
